I'm sorry, but

We will NEVER justify the Iraq/Afghanistan (War on Terror).

"Justifications" used
-We killed Al-Qaida
At the expense of 1 million Iraqi's, 5000 US soldiers + another 5000 contractors?
-Avenged the Twin Towers
Again, can you morally justify killing 1 million people for 3 thousand lives?
-They were Muslims, who cares?
You are the reason the world is a shithole.
-Their [the Iraqis] lives are much better with democracy
Right, their "democracy" that causes an average of 1,000 deaths per month.
-You have to support the troops!
I whole-heartedly support them. Not their mission, not the things they've done. The best way to save our troops is to bring them home, not send them off to more wars.

Needed to get this off my chest.

People are waking up to the ideology of Libertarianism

These past few months probably spread Libertarianism faster than any time in history. Whether we gain positive or negative attention does not matter because one day, people will realize there is no left-right paradigm in real life. Government is a quasi-monopoly on violence and force.

The notion that we "need" government to maintain order is absurd. Local villages survive with no government intervention, but rather elders that oversee people and ensure of their well-being peacefully, and free of fraud or coercion.

Government IS a monopoly on force and coercion designed to protect you from force and coercion. Paradoxical, isn't it?

Libertarians come in many colors, from An-caps to Minarchists. I believe government serves no role in the economy other than the original roles the founders placed upon it: to provide for the common welfare (not food stamps!) and general defense.

Every time a "terrorist" attack is placed upon the United States, remember that it was the government that put us in the situation in the first place. If you look at the reasons Al-Qaida attacks us, one of the big reasons is our occupation of Saudi Arabia in the Gulf War. We tear families apart each day.

How would you feel if a country like China occupied the US, and every so often took a family out of their home, killed the father, and jailed the rest? And for every loyal American going to defend their country, the Chinese shut down? Then, for every person who died, 10 more joined the resistance? Flip that around, and you have the war on terror- an unwinnable war.

The last statesman of our time; Dr. Paul

"The last nail is being driven into the coffin of the American Republic. Yet, Congress remains in total denial as our liberties are rapidly fading before our eyes. The process is propelled by unwarranted fear and ignorance as to the true meaning of liberty. It is driven by economic myths, fallacies and irrational good intentions. The rule of law is constantly rejected and authoritarian answers are offered as panaceas for all our problems. Runaway welfarism is used to benefit the rich at the expense of the middle class. Who would have ever thought that the current generation and Congress would stand idly by and watch such a rapid disintegration of the American Republic? Characteristic of this epic event is the casual acceptance by the people and political leaders of the unitary presidency, which is equivalent to granting dictatorial powers to the President."

Free Adam Kokesh!

He was arrested earlier today at Smoke Down Prohibition IV in Philly, and is now in Federal hands. He was charged with "resisting arrest" which is paradoxical because you don't have a crime to be charged with beforehand. He is to also see a judge Monday.

I'm sure they will come up with a bullshit excuse.

Conservative? Hell no!

Far too often people mix "Libertarian" with "Conservative" and that is equivalent to mixing "Jew" with "Fascist" in word terms.

Nowadays, Conservatives only favor civil liberties such as the second amendment when it is in their favor. They want to extend the drug war, keep gays suppressed, block religious freedom, etc, which we know is not in OUR favor.

I don't know how Libertarians got mixed with Conservatives the way Progressives became synonymous with Liberal, but let me make this clear:

We disagree with Liberals as much as we disagree with Conservatives. I guess it just seems that Conservatives are more willing to hear our ideas (generally).

tl;dr Romney would've been just as bad as Obama is now.

This would be fairly commonsense, but the government illusion is making it seem controversial.
NEWSFLASH: Gun Control should not be controversial. I'll tell it as it really is:
People made to believe inanimate objects are dangerous vs. People who want to defend themselves.

Who will build the roads?

Another great quote, made popular by Adam Kokesh:
I don't necessarily know who first said it, if anyone could tell me that'd be great.
